Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy high.
