The children's author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the company commented: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was made after an investigation into reports of questionable actions towards women.
The firm has not elaborated on the reasons for its decision, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Writing Journey
Walliams ranks among Britain's most best-selling authors for kids, boasting over in excess of 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Several of his books, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works in total, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins this past October.
A Dual Career
He first rose to fame on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE back in 2017 honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
This development follows the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
